Karlstad Woodwork is committed to building and designing all things wood. Although established in 2014, founder Brendan Karlstad has had a fond relationship with wood ever since tagging along with his father to the woodshop or jobsite. Brendan worked with his father, John, for years before heading off to NYC to apprentice and work for multiple cabinet makers, furniture designers, and millwork companies. After five years in New York, Brendan decided to be closer to family and moved back to rural Wisconsin where he set up shop with his father just outside of Viroqua. John Karlstad has 50 plus years experience as a carpenter/woodworker and together they combine to offer exceptional craftsmanship on whatever your project may be.
